How do I show Hog Haven at my school, conference, or private event?
Hog Haven is available for private screenings both in-person and virtually, with the full feature available (one-and-a-half-hours), the one-hour PBS version, a half-hour version, and even a 15-minute version. Discussion guides and DVDs are also available, To chat about your event and how we can create something truly special, email me:

Do you do speaking engagements?
Yes. The Hog Haven team is very happy to arrange live Q&A sessions and informational talks both in-person and virtually! These are particularly effective when paired with a screening event. I love to talk about my film, animal advocacy and plant-based lifestyle topics; Erin, the ‘star’ of the film, is a powerful public speaker and widely respected by her peers in animal advocacy. Erin and her husband (and Hog Haven Co-Founder) Andrew often do public engagements together.
What is the core messaging of Hog Haven?
Hog Haven is primarily a story about the rescue of pigs from situations of abandonment, accident, abuse, or neglect, and their life on a farm sanctuary in rural Colorado. The primary animal ‘characters’ are three rescued piglets of the same age, brought together with an adult female pig to form an adopted family.
Narrated almost entirely by Erin, the founder of Hog Haven Farm, the film is an exploration of her work as an animal advocate and her views on how animal welfare is interconnected with the welfare of human beings and the planet. Erin describes why she founded a farm animal sanctuary and explains how making incremental changes in diet and behavior can have a profound impact.
